The Personnel Coordinator
Powerful
PCO schedules classes, prints sign-in sheets, and tracks all facilities and equipment used for training. PCO also tracks assignments, orientations, board certifications, local certifications, licenses, activities, achievements, skills, vaccinations, medical tests, identification, linguistics, civilian education, TQM activities, awards, evaluations, clinical privileges, computer training, in-service training, classroom hours/CEUs, DEA authorization, and more. Special tracking for military hospitals includes military education, physical fitness training with test score calculation, body fat ratios, duty status, temporary duty and travel funds, security clearance, and weapons qualifications. PCO produces a variety of standard reports that show organization-wide, unit/ward, and individual data, and also has a custom report generator so that you can design your own reports. Standard reports include credentials expiration notifications, JCAHO-type credentials compliance, unit/ward rosters, personnel evaluation schemes, and personnel worksheets. The report generator allows reports to be displayed on screen, saved as Lotus 1-2-3 or Excel spreadsheet files, or saved as ASCII files. You can even print course attendance certificates! Of course, PCO also supports mail-merge with common word processors.
Flexible
You can customize PCO to track YOUR data. Customizable features include board certifications, local certifications, licenses, military and civilian education, military occupation and grade, and all training activities. PCO also provides a date-stamped journal for each student that can contain an unlimited number of notes, and now includes individual to-do lists to track personal requirements, goals, and accomplishments.
Secure
PCO allows the use of unique user identification names and passwords. Different privilege levels can be assigned to users with different needs, such as permitting a user to view but not add or edit personnel records. In addition, users' access can be limited to their own unit's personnel records. Finally, access may be controlled to any subfile and specific system features. PCO also supports separation of data entry from data verification privileges. An encrypted audit trail is provided for all data.
Simple to Use
PCO organizes data just like a file cabinet. Users typically require only 15-30 minutes of orientation to be fully productive with the system. PCO is fully documented, and also provides customizable, context-sensitive online help.
Compatible With Your Existing Computers
PCO requires Microsoft Windows, and is local area network-ready. The recommended minimum PC configuration is an 80486 CPU with 8 mB of RAM. PCO is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows
XP and Windows 2000.
